Marty graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Calgary in 2018 and was called to the Bar of the Law Society of Alberta in the summer of 2019. After completing his Articles, he joined a large Multinational Firm in Calgary as an Associate Lawyer and subsequently transitioned into the practice of Family Law.

Marty’s experience in the area of Family Law consists of high-conflict parenting disputes, child and spousal support, division of family property, and child welfare matters involving Child and Family Services.

Marty has appeared before the Court of Appeal of Alberta, the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta and the Provincial Court of Alberta. Marty strives to promote Alternative Dispute Resolution methods and has represented clients in both Mediation and Arbitration settings.

When taking a break from his busy Family Law Practice, Marty can be found on the sidelines as the Head Men’s Basketball Coach for the SAIT Trojans. Marty is a very active volunteer in the basketball community through his coaching position, attending local schools and conducting basketball clinics for the local youth.
