As a partner and co-founder of WK Family Lawyers LLP, Scot guides his clients through difficult circumstances and towards an individually-suited resolution.  Utilizing a collaborative and cooperative approach, Scot emphasizes an amicable and resolution-based approach to family legal matters.  Scot maintains a litigation practice as well, and has appeared at all levels of Court in Alberta.

A native Calgarian, Scot was called to the Alberta Bar in 2000, Scot began his career as a general civil and commercial litigator, but devoted his practice exclusively to family law in 2003.  Prior to forming WK Family Lawyers LLP, Scot was a partner at Soby Boyden Lenz.  Scot earned his B. Sc. in Cellular, Molecular and Microbial Biology from the University of Calgary in 1996 and his LL.B. from the University of Alberta in 1999.
